Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Digivolve Innovations ("we", "us") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania.

Who we are

Digivolve Innovations is a web and software company at Saifee Mansion, Bibi Titi Mohammed St, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. For anything in this notice, call or WhatsApp us on +255 744 786 553, or visit our office.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
• DigiPOS waitlist: your name, business name, phone number and, if you choose to tell us, your city and how many tills you run.
• Calls and WhatsApp: your phone number and whatever you choose to share in the conversation.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, which is a step you asked us to take before any contract.
• To contact you about DigiPOS before launch, because you joined the waitlist and agreed to it.
• To keep the website secure and working, which is our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to these purposes.

Who else handles it

• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and stores form submissions. Its servers may be outside Tanzania.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages you send us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Google serves the map on our contact page, but only after you choose to load it.

Where information leaves Tanzania, we rely on providers that apply recognised security safeguards, and we share only what is needed.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for no more than 24 months if no work goes ahead. Waitlist details are kept until DigiPOS launches or you ask us to remove them. Information connected to a contract is kept for as long as the law requires for business records.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Contact us on +255 744 786 553 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Tanzania.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submissions is limited to the people at Digivolve who need it to reply to you.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
